Eight companies emerged as the top Halal Hi-Tech companies in Malaysia under the High Impact Programme-2 (HIP-2) organised by PlaTCOM Ventures, in collaboration with Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) and SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp). The companies were IIUM Advanced Technology Sdn Bhd, MIFF Holding Sdn Bhd, Holistic Lab Sdn Bhd, Myinfitech Sdn Bhd, Rhone Ma (M) Sdn. The winners of the Halal Hi-Tech Challenge 2015 (HHTC) scooped up a total sum of RM 3,000,000.

The evaluation by the HIP-2 committee was based on three main elements – Technology, Market and Intellectual Property, and the eight winners chosen were admitted into the High Impact Programme 2 under the SME Masterplan 2012-2020.  They also received end-to-end commercialisation support - through the provision of financial assistance, which included IP strategy, technical assistance, mentoring, access to equipment, infrastructure, incubation and testing and validation by PlaTCOM Ventures to build their business.
